Aanandita Kothurkar

I gained my MSc in Genetics of Human disease from UCL in 2022, with a specialization in neurological disorders. During my postgraduate degree, I first worked with zebrafish as a model organism, studying a neurodevelopmental disorder caused by mutations in manganese transporter ATP13A1. I was eager to gain more experience working with zebrafish, and therefore joined the Macdonald Lab as a lab technician in December 2022. I am looking forward to getting involved with different projects in the lab and learning more about the retina.
